Argan burro

L'albero di Argan (Argania spinosa, Saponacee) cresce spontaneamente nel sud-ovest del Marocco, in Messico e a Madera. Il burro viene ottenuto per trattamento dell'olio originario, che si ottiene dalla spremitura a freddo delle nocciole. L'Olio di Argan contiene oltre l'80% di acidi grassi insaturi, composti per circa il 37% di acido linoleico, acido oleico, acido palmitico, acido stearico ed è ricco in vitamina E. A causa della sua composizione intrinseca questo olio è altamente emolliente e stimola il rinnovamento cellulare; recenti studi hanno appurato che esso contiene sostanze antiossidanti che combattono l'invecchiamento. L'olio protegge la pelle idratandola e rendendola morbida ed elastica; esercita inoltre un'azione rafforzante sulle unghie fragili e sui capelli secchi, rallentando il processo di invecchiamento.
